Teaching

I believe that learning about music and playing an instrument is a unique way to develop holistically at all stages of life and makes for an incredible lifelong investment. In today’s fast-paced world, cultivating awareness, empathy and an appreciation of beauty and connection is one of the most valuable skills, and doing so through music is a great life skill.

I am happy to pass on my musical knowledge and experience to future generations and fellow music lovers.

I have completed Master’s degrees in both concert performance and pedagogy and have gained teaching experience at various institutions in Norway, Switzerland, Austria and Germany. I have also led workshops on contemporary music, string instruments and ensemble playing at universities and festivals. If you would like to arrange a workshop, please contact me and I will be happy to design a bespoke programme for your institution.

I currently teach a Cello class for all ages at the Music School in Feldkirch, Austria, and also offer private cello lessons tailored to each student’s individual needs, taking into account their age, motivation and prior knowledge. Cello lessons are available in person in Zurich, Switzerland, as well as via online platforms worldwide. If desired, lessons can also cover musical theory, physical and mental preparation for daily practice, performing in concerts and auditions, as well as literary inspiration, and guidance on buying and caring for the instrument.

The lessons are offered in the following languages:

Slovenian, English, German, Norwegian, Croatian and Serbian.
